I was born and raised in Romania, a  magical place were my love for storytelling sprouted and grew. For 17 years, I was a TV journalist, before moving to Chicago at the end of 2018, to follow love.

While reinventing myself in the U.S., I took storytelling classes at The Second City, performed  on their stages, curated storytelling events, performed at  The Moth Chicago, Fillet of Solo Festival Chicago, First Person Live, and more. 

My stories are true, from my life, and speak about immigration, love, everyday struggles, motherhood, all spiced up with Romanian cultural references.

Memory Lane Chicago is  a collection of true stories from non-famous people, stories to inspire, connect, and last for generations.

It all started with my neighbor Art, a 90-year old man, full of energy, and life stories. Art agreed to give me an interview. So, one Sunday morning last December, I knocked on his door, equipped with my phone, a ring light, one lavalier microphone, and a lot of excitement.

Three hours later,  I left with a deep admiration for Art, and a lot of material for the first part of what would become Memory Lane Chicago.

After 17 years, thousands of hours on LIVE television, and many "big stage" presentations, I am excited to share that knowledge and experience with you.

The Public Speaking workshop can be tailored to your needs. From schools to corporations, and one-on-one sessions to large teams, my goal is to increase self-confidence while learning new skills to use when speaking in front of large groups of people.

You will also learn how to craft a speech, a story, or improve communication with friends and family.
